That INT back across the field just died in the air. That's a pass that Lance hit pretty easily deeper down the field just last year. But Lance has to get better in the short game or it won't matter. Yeah. but just like Lance needs to get better, Purdy will get better too. I was waiting for a game like this from him, where not everything works out and he did hold his own. He clearly needed that kind of experience on the field. This game gave us a lot of Video Material that is going to be studied and it can only be good on all fronts. The Battle of the Bay isn't a thing anymore, but this felt like the games in 2000, and 2002. My heart took a leap for a good 2 hours. Don't know if the 49ers can nab that #1 seed, but it's just been a remarkable journey to even be in this position. I hope Shanahan is in the running for Coach of the Year. BTW, Bosa should have the DPOY award firmly in his grasp by now. As a fan I now know what it feels like to have a Bruce Smith type of player on the defensive line. Bryant Young will probably go down as the second best player to wear #97 sooner rather than later.
