One big talking point I’ve heard my whole life is that a QB throws many picks because he has a bad defense so he forces balls into coverage to “make something happen” but I don’t really think that’s true. For the Colts, the argument isn’t because of a bad defense it’s because the defense is so much better then the offense and the offense is not keeping drives alive so the QB is trying to make things happen but throwing picks instead.
