Hufanga shouldn't be first team over Justin Simmons.

I have no doubt that the games missed killed Simmons in that regard. The fact that he made second team while missing nearly a third of the season is impressive. Hufanga struggled on the back end of the season though. That guy blows a lot of coverages for all the splash plays he makes.

Very happy for Andrew Thomas and Dexter Lawrence. Both very well deserved, although I was hoping Dexy would get the first team nod over Quinnen Williams.

It's almost unfair because they play different positions, tbh. Lawrence plays as a true 0/1 tech.

I don't think people realize how good he was this year and how absurd he was given what he plays. Dude should not be 350 putting up 7.5 sacks and 30 qb hits.

And 80+ pressures! Second only behind Chris Jones! (although that is according to PFF, and they inflate pressure numbers. It's probably closer to 50-60, and Jones probably has closer to 60-70 or something).

If they wanted to call him first team all-pro nose tackle, I'd be perfectly ok with that.

As far as Thomas, as soon as he let up that impressive sack to Parsons, I knew he lost his 1st team all-pro bid. You have to be perfect to beat out Trent Williams for that spot. Thomas was pretty damn close, but fell just short. To me, he was definitely, easily, the 2nd best LT this year.
