Forge
Hopefully similar outcome to this. Matts, wherever you are, buddy.... Know that this is what I'll be doing to Dallas fans if the niners win again

Forge
Will be a good matchup. The one I wanted the least for sure. I think both teams are better than they were when they met last year. Niners need to find a way around Parsons and the pass rush again
TecmoSuperJoe
We cannot lose this game. I'll be gutted. 49ers 28 Cowboys 3 Edited January 17, 2023 by TecmoSuperJoe
NoFlyZone
Best offense vs the best defense. Let’s do it.
incognito_man
People subconsciously gonna give an edge to Dallas due to Dak vs Purdy. I expect the betting public to be skeptical of Brock Purdy in the next round(s). Will be fun to see how he responds. Could be the storyline of the off-season or a footnote. I don’t care what the stats say, the Chiefs, Eagles, and Bills offense looks a lot better than Dallas, and San Francisco (since Purdy has started) and Cincinnati are at least on par.
Forge
It doesn't help Dallas that they have a short week, traveling from Tampa to Dallas to SF while the niners get an extra day off rest

That matters. SF gets a nice advantage.
WheatieMan
Dak will have to play even better than today to beat the 49ers. As will the defense. It's possible but I don't see it... 49ers 27-19.

You don’t care what the stats say? So you don’t care about scoring points? By what evidence do their opponents “look way better”? Seems like a bit of a biased take to have that level of exaggeration. If you want to tweak my statement to be arguably the best offense vs arguably the best defense that’s one thing… but it’s silly to pretend to pretend that the Chiefs, Bills, Eagles (lol) are ‘way’ better. I guess it depends on which version of Josh Allen shows up but they don't look that great right now. As for this game, should be entertaining but if SF can force turnovers they'll win easily. However, I don't expect Brock Purdy to be throwing to wide open guys all game long like he did last time. For some reason, I think Dallas' defense is better than this:

For some reason, I think Dallas' defense is better than this: I have to assume the gameplan in this one is going to be run heavy. Dallas struggles more against the run and I would want to wear them down on short rest. I wouldn't be surprised if having Purdy throw so much out of the gate against Seattle wasn't to set up an opponent like Dallas the following week.
