CP3MVP
That defense was horrible and needs to be rebuilt

Kendricks is an interesting one because he regressed last year, but how much was DC versus him getting older. Either way his cap numbers made him very expendable and an easy way to start to free up some cap space. So a move that I expected to happen. We'll see who else gets moved on from, probably not a ton more on defense. But offensively there are some options.
vike daddy
By releasing Kendricks, the Vikings will save $9.5 million in cap space with $1.93 million in dead money. Kendricks had just one season remaining on his contract. Kendricks is immediately eligible to sign with any club. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/06/vikings-release-eric-kendricks/
skywindO2
Knew this was coming but sad, always liked him.
SteelKing728
I think he can play in either system but he is probably a better fit for the 4-3. Some Vikings fans think he's strictly a 4-3 MLB though.
vegas492
One of my favorite non-Packers. Loved him coming out and he was just a great ILB for oh so many years. I still think he's a very good one. Much respect for that player.
Ty21
He played at UCLA with one of my relatives so it’s been fun watching his successes. Wouldn’t mind Chi giving him a look and seeing what Sanborn can do at olb. Gums up a position we need to address for a year and saves us a draft pick

Think he’s fairly scheme specific at this point, didn’t seem to work out for him in Donatell’s scheme. Can’t imagine they saw him as a fit in Flores scheme either.
