That's one thing about Carr, he's basically guaranteed to put up the same numbers (4,300 yards / 24 TD) regardless of who you put around him.

So if thats the floor with upside of 5K and 40TD or somewhere in between. Thats a bad thing??

He has 25+ TD passes once in the last six seasons and has only thrown 30+ TD passes once in nine years. He's arguably the worst red zone QB in the league so I'm not sure how his upside is 40 TD when he couldn't produce in the red zone last year with Adams / Waller, his numbers were identical to what he put up with Zay Jones and Hunter Renfrow.

DJ Moore and Free Agency say hello. Plus Terrace Marshall showed flashes last year.

The only RB they have under contract is Chubba Hubbard and they were one of the worst offensive teams in the league last season. They're going to clear enough space to give Jimmy the money that he wants and add legit weapons around him? Moore is good but their offense is terrible outside of him.

Offense is one side of football. Panthers looked like a decent team in the second half of the season.

Wait until the Jets panic when Rodgers finally says he's staying a Packer and give Jimmy Garrapolo a similar contract. 👌

Wait til Jimmy winds up in Carolina or Tampa and the Jets panic and give Carson Wentz a similar contract lol

Their defense was below average last year as well though. But your comment was that Jimmy G would make them the favorite, lol.

Probably because Waller barely played and McIdiot was busy trying to run jet sweeps with Adams when he wasn't getting doubled or tripled?

40 is probably high regardless, but people keep pretending the Raiders were playing with a full deck and McDaniels wasn't incredibly flawed last year. It's humorous.

Has any QB not named Tom Brady ever thrived in a Josh McDaniels offense? A offense known for being complex, hard to learn? Sometimes simple isn't stupid!

Problem was, Raider fans expectations and SB aspirations for the 2022 season. Never mind the one of a kind HC they hired, We are loaded!! Never mind the joke of a defense,  We are loaded. Derek Carr can overcome that.

See for the first time in his ENTIRE career Derek Carr should have a 1/2 way decent Defense at his disposal, potentially top 10 again. A Defense that "should" give Carr 1-2-3 , hell maybe even 4 more possessions a game to create points. Something the Raiders defenses have historically failed to do throughout his tenure.

No it wasn’t. I said it could be either team. That I would lean Carolina if they get a QB. Keyword, lean. Also, Dennis Allen is an atrocious Head Coach.

He sucked in the red zone with literally every single coaching staff that we've had though and his numbers have basically been the same regardless of the coaching staff or weapons around him. He's incapable of putting up huge TD numbers because he's terrible in the red zone.

I like Carolina's chances overall more than New Orleans'. Jimmy could provide at least passable QB play....and by year's end, that was arguably the difference between Carolina sneaking in and not. Their QB situation was 100% what held them back last year.

Why don't you just say "it's b/c Carr is on the other team" b/c you know you're not fooling a damn person and we all know that's why you're saying what you are no matter how asinine it is.

We've had numerous coaches, play callers, groups of weapons, etc. and he still never puts up huge TD numbers because he's not good in the red zone. He doesn't like to throw into tight windows and that's why his efficiency falls off of a cliff when the field shrinks.

Regardless of how good his defense is, we have a 9 year sample size of him struggling with turnovers, struggling in the red zone, and falling off of a cliff as the season progresses. Look at the Rams and Steelers games last year but I guess that was on JMD and the defense.
