I would love to see the Vikings make some moves today and trade some players. I believe Cook could get us a 2nd or 3rd round pick along with Za’Darius Smith. Both would free up money and help this team moving forward.

Who are potential trade partners?

I think for Cook, it’s has to be Miami or Buffalo. More so the Bills because they are in the window of winning now.

As for Smith, I think Seattle makes a ton of sense for them. I think we could get a 3rd for Smith. I think Seattle had a great 1st round. they have 2nd round picks. If they hit on both 2nd round picks and land Smith with there 3rd round pick, I believe they would get an A++ on this draft and be built for years to come… Scary good team moving forward..

Defense with the next 4 picks. Let the board fall to you.

It should be.  The only other offensive position that should be in consideration would be to take a flyer on a QB with their 6th rd pick.  Otherwise, it should be an Edge/DT, LB or CB.  I personally always seemed to have them take a LB in the 3rd.

So on Day Two of the 2023 NFL draft, we have to acknowledge that there’s a whole lot we don’t know about where the top prospects are heading. Still, we have some opinions on the best players available, and our list of the Top 20 players remaining on the board is below:

1. Will Levis, quarterback, Kentucky.

2. Hendon Hooker, quarterback, Tennessee.

3. Joey Porter Jr., cornerback, Penn State.

4. Keion White, defensive end, Georgia Tech.

5. Brian Branch, defensive back, Alabama.

6. Michael Mayer, tight end, Notre Dame.

7. Isaiah Foskey, edge, Notre Dame.

8. Luke Musgrave, tight end, Oregon State.

9. Steve Avila, guard/center, TCU.

10. Keeanu Benton, defensive tackle, Wisconsin.

11. Jalin Hyatt, wide receiver, Tennessee.

12. Jonathan Mingo, wide receiver, Ole Miss.

13. Darnell Washington, tight end, Georgia.

14. Joe Tippmann, center, Wisconsin.

15. Sam LaPorta, tight end, Iowa.

16. Tyrique Stevenson, cornerback, Miami.

17. Adetomiwa Adebawore, defensive end, Northwestern.

18. DJ Turner, cornerback, Michigan.

19. Marvin Mims, wide receiver, Oklahoma.

20. Sydney Brown, safety, Illinois.

I expect the Rams to trade up for Levis. He makes too much sense for them.

I would expect that they just let Levis fall to them at 36.  I don't see Detroit taking him at 34 and that's really the only minor threat.  If they don't take him, expect Seattle to a pick later.

Apparently, Florio's not a fan of John Michael Schmitz.
