Once he’s in the NFL the coaching he gets has to hammer take what the defense is giving you into his head. I'm not sure he can unless he has a few more games like he did against ND. Drake Maye is very inconsistent himself so I don't see him jumping Caleb. As good as Verse is, he's not a #1 overall type Edge prospect. Maybe if McCarthy plays out of his mind against Penn State, Ohio State, and Georgia in the Playoffs he could garner enough hype? Maybe?
