nagahide13
(projection, not current standings) 1) Hurts 2) Dak 3) Mahomes 4) Lamar 5) Purdy 6) Tua Beyond that doesn't matter right now IMO. Stroud has an outside shot but is probably 10 or so.

incognito_man
It changes every week ha Could be any of like 10 guys at this point. Totally up for grabs. Whoever finishes the strongest among the top huge group will win it.

Stroud probably deserves the nod over him, but his overall team isn’t as strong
AngusMcFife
The case for Lamar isn't too strong now, but after next week the Ravens play the @Jags, Dolphins, and @49ers, with 2 games in primetime. If (a big if) the Ravens win out and get the one seed and Lamar plays well in these games, you can see a case for MVP.
bigbadbuff
Josh Allen leads the league in touchdowns, top 5 in passing yards, completing 68% of his passes but bc he has 3 more picks than hurts/Mahomes and the Bills are 6-6 he’s not even thought about when he’s having a monster season. He’s on pace for I think 48 or so total touchdowns lol
bigbadbuff
It’s Dak as of right now…. Somehow lmao

If the Niners run the table and Purdy has a big game or big moment against the Ravens on Xmas, he's going to have a chance to win the award. Dak has his chance to separate a bit with the tough stretch coming up and if the Cowboys do well and he continues his great play.
BroncoSojia
I think there's a good enough case to give it to a non-QB this year considering no QB is having a stand out year. Give it to McCaffrey or Tyreek.

AFlaccoSeagulls
Dak and CJ Stroud are, for me, clearly above everyone else. Then I would go Josh Allen, then Lamar and then maybe Jalen Hurts or Tyreek Hill. Edited December 4, 2023 by AFlaccoSeagulls

IMO, if a QB wins it this year, they should probably just rename the award to "QB with the best narrative" or something. BTW, Purdy has been a really good QB this year, but is he more valuable than McCaffrey for the 49ers? Did you see the Niners last postseason without a QB and with CMC?
