IMO, this hire even further solidifies the fact that we have use what money we have in FA to go get a top safety. Going to need a good center fielder with range in Hafley's defense.

I am always very skeptical of guys taken fresh out of college and that would have been true for me even of Jim Leonard.

I am more than glad we wised up and kicked Barry outta here and will always be regardless of what comes next.  Hafley is high risk high reward though.  I've got a very open mind to what he might do, and hopefully it will be very different than what both Pettine and Barry did here, but the NFL is always a major step from college, and what worked there doesn't always translate to here.

Anyway, hopefully he knows how to deal with innovative speedy offenses like Detroit's and scrambling QBs like Jalen Hurts who I believe we face this next season.

I didn’t have Hadley on my bingo card, that’s for damn sure.  Probably a solid hire - I’ve no clue.  But this is the Greenest Bay thing ever, lol.

I'm not sure what to make of the hire, but if he can keep QBs from running all over us and teach basic fundamentals, ill be thrilled.
