Personally, I'd consider trading down from #1 but have no doubt Poles will go with Caleb.

Key

Pass-Rtng = Passer Rating from PFF.
Deep-Grad = Passer Grade on deep throws.
Mdim-Grad = Passer Grade on medium throws.
Prsr-Rtng = Passer Rating under pressure.
None-Rtng = Passer Rating when not under pressure.
Adj.-Cmp% = Adjusted Completion Percentage.
ADoT = Average Depth of Target in yards.
BTTR = Big Time Throw Rate.
TWPR = Turnover Worthy Pass Rate.
Deep-Yrds = Yards gained with long passes.
Scrn-Yrds = Yards gained with very short passes.
Drop-Rate = Percentage of drops by targets.
P2SR = Pressure to Sack rate.
AT2T = Average Time to Throw.

A lot of mocks agree with Rome Odunze at #9 but the team already has an elite WR1 and Mooney might work out with a better passer (Caleb) and attitude.  Assuming Joe Alt is gone I'd take Edger Laiatu Latu, perhaps after trading down a little.  DT and OT are needs but, like WR2/3, they might be targets in free agency.

This is a pretty good draft for the Rams IF they are able to address the O-line in free agency.

Initially, I didn't think of TE as a need, but with Higbee recovering from a knee injury and an unproven Davis Allen, TE might be necessary after all.

However, I believe I would prefer Max Melton over Renardo Green.

Round 1

5. LA Chargers  - Taliese Fuaga | OT | Oregon State  I like him but not sure he goes that high, and over Fashanu that would be a shocker to me.

6. NY Giants  - Malik Nabers | WR | LSU  Athletically he is limited and I think that might show in the combined compared to the likes of Odunze and Coleman who should do outstanding at the combine.

10. NY Jets  - Olumuyiwa Fashanu | OT | Penn State  Again that would be shocking, dude is big time as a talent

15. Indianapolis  - Brock Bowers | TE | Georgia  Would be very surprised he falls that far, sure he was hurt this past year but the dude is elite and well worth a top 10 selection, only reason he falls is if one thinks he cannot play TE and is just a big were, where I think he can play TE in the league.

16. Seattle  - Byron Murphy | DL | Texas  I still say his teammate Sweat had a better season than he did, super impact during big games last year and great arm length, very active big guy

24. Dallas  - Tyler Guyton | OT | Oklahoma  I do not get all the hype for this guy, what because he is from Oklahoma?  This is his first year starting completely, last year only started 5 games and the two years before that he basically did not play at TCU.  Sure he is big and promising but 1st round?

32. Kansas City  - Troy Franklin | WR | Oregon  I think this would be a reach taking him this high, he is good but not sure he is that good

Round 2

39. NY Giants  - Troy Fautanu | IOL | Washington  I do not get it, to me he is better than Fuaga on Oregon State and a few other OL you have picked ahead of him, no question to me he is better than Guyton, sure Fautanu might end up as a guard but could really play LT, RT or OG.

40. Washington (From Chicago) - Jordan Morgan | OT | Arizona I think he is worth a 1st round pick, very promising talent with great upside

42. Minnesota  - Michael Penix Jr. | QB | Washington Would be nuts if he fell this far but sure because of his injury history, but on the field he has proven he can be a pin point passer and not take many sacks despite dropping back well over 1000 times the past two seasons.

49. Cincinnati  - Roman Wilson | WR | Michigan I would be shocked if he goes this high, if he was that good of a WR JJ McCarthy would not have struggled as much as he did this past year.  Wilson is good but to me not 2nd round pick good, he has never even came close to having 1000 yards receiving in four years at Michigan.

56. Dallas  - Jonathon Brooks | RB | Texas  I feel he is a bit on the overrated side, without him Texas had no problem and those backs were successful because of that offensive system, and this year is really the only year Brooks has really done something and obviously then got hurt.

Round 3

86. Houston (From Phliadelphia) - Brenden Rice | WR | USC To me no way he is worth that high of a pick, sure big name but not sure he is that elite of a talent.  Caleb Williams struggled because he did not have a true #1 WR this year like Addison the year before, Rice is good but little high here

87. Dallas  - Junior Colson | LB | Michigan  Has talent enough to be a 1st round pick, dude is legit and very promising.

91. Green Bay (From Buffalo) - Jeremiah Trotter Jr. | LB | Clemson Also a 1st round pick to me, with his ability to blitz, cover and straight run, dude could be a changer for a defense.

96. Jacksonville (Comp Pick) - Jonah Ellis | EDGE | Utah Sure he might fall because he is short but has the best spin move as a pass rusher in the draft and will only get better with time, great bloodline and was a monster in some huge game this season, beast.

Round 4
108. NY Giants  - Jaylen Wright | RB | Tennessee Never been a huge fan of his, and to me having him drafted over Braelon Allen is nuts.

113. Las Vegas  - Jarrian Jones | CB | Florida State Not a huge fan of his but in a CB needy draft maybe, but this seems a bit high

125. San Francisco (From Dallas) - Jaylan Ford | LB | Texas I like him but not this high honestly

126. Tampa Bay  - Braelon Allen | RB | Wisconsin I would assume after Allen does great at the combine listed at what 240 almost, and runs well he should be a 2nd rounder.  Sure injury history but athletically he is rare potentially

Round 7

222. LA Chargers  - Cody Schrader | RB | Missouri  Dude is a great runner and super smooth who can run with power, would be shocked if he falls this far.

228. New England  - JD Bertrand | LB | Notre Dame Arguably one of the best potential OLB or rangy ILB in the draft, no way he falls this far in a LB group that is so thin and not deep, he can play

254. Tampa Bay (Comp Pick) - Nathaniel Watson | LB | Mississippi State Again would be shocked he falls this far, dude had 10 sacks at ILB, is big, can run and has had well over 100 tackles the past two years and for the past three years had 5, 6 and 10 sacks.  That is impressive especially coming from someone not on the edge, dude can play.

And sure some of these for me might be reaches because so many guys dropped out of the draft, have to have someone in there.   I want to say it was 100 potentially or more I originally had in the draft before all decided to go back to school or transfer.  But would be curious if all of these guys are not drafted which you do not have any of them included.

Never underestimate the love that Shanahan has to get fresh RBs.

Same team that burnt 3rds in subsequent years on guys projected to go much later, only to turn around and hand away a bunch of capital for CMC??

Nah, why would they act like themselves?

This is a pretty terrible outcome for the Raiders.

Nix is a reach at #13, RT isn't a good value in the 2nd, and we draft our third string RB in the third while ignoring defense in the first 3 rounds?

What I would've done:

Las Vegas
 1 13. Byron Murphy | DL | Texas
 2 44. TJ Tampa | CB | Iowa State
 3 77.  Christian Mahogany | IOL | Boston College
 4 113. Cedric Gray | LB | North Carolina
 5 147. Zion Tupuola-Fetui | EDGE | Washington
 6 209. Dylan Laube | RB | New Hampshire
 7 220. Joe Milton | QB | Tennessee
 7 224. Josiah Ezirim | OT | Eastern Kentucky
 7 226. Jordan Whittington | WR | Texas

Yea I mean this draft pretty much says we spend our cap dollars on the OL and if that happens and we get this draft, Super Bowl

Compared to a WR that is athletically elite yes.  Is he super fast?  No.  Is he super strong and great at breaking tackles?  No.  Does he jump out of the gym and is great at high pointing the football?  No.

He is a smooth route runner that knows how to get open but I would not call him a burner or a great YAC WR or a guy who is super quick either.  1st round pick no question but to me Odunze is one who can jump out of the gym, take physical contact and out muscle DBs and is not too bad speed wise either.  But in terms of a jump ball WR Odunze and Keon Coleman destroy Nabers.  Maybe Nabers will surprise me at the combine but on the field I am no amazed by his athletic gifts at WR compared to Odunze or Coleman.  There is no way he is a better athletic than either of those two WRs.

I am surprised OT is not much higher on the list and there is no TE.
I assume Phillips assumes that they lose Sneed. If so they would get a higher pick in compensation. Better to assume he's back.
I am conflicted about Irving. They need RB depth but they have been so good at finding useful players cheap. That said, pick #95 isn't early.

What do you think of this top 4

Kingsley Suamataia
Leonard Taylor or Ja'Lynn Polk
Austin Booker
Marshawn Lloyd

I'm higher on Booker than most but the Chiefs like ties to the region and younger players.
