Peyton Manning's 2012 season was better than any of Elway's seasons, tbh. Demaryius Thomas's 2014 season should also be in the HM at least.

Yeah, we luckily have had lots of great individual performances. Agreed that 2014 DT season is a great one. Leaving Gradishar and Floyd Little and Tom Jackson off that list was tough.

Off the top of my head:
1. 2022 Mahomes
2. 2018 Mahomes
3. 1990 Derrick Thomas
4. 2020 Travis Kelce
5. 2002 Priest Holmes? I'm iffier on this one. Could be a bunch of guys here.

HMs:
Every other Mahomes season
Every other Kelce season
2003 Priest Holmes
2004 Tony Gonzalez
2007 Jared Allen
2022 Chris Jones
That year Emmitt Thomas had 12 picks. 1974 maybe?
2014 Justin Houston
2003 for like all of our blockers, Roaf, Waters, Shields, Richardson
2010, 2012, 2013 Jamaal Charles
I think 2013 was peak Eric Berry, IIRC. Maybe 2016. The injuries and cancer kind of disrupted things there.
2005 Larry Johnson
2018 Tyreek Hill

And then the old guys I couldn't give specific years for. Bobby Bell, Willie Lanier, Otis Taylor, Deron Cherry, etc.

1. 2009 Chris Johnson (2,006 yards rushing, 503 yards receiving, 16 total TDs)

2. 2008 Albert Haynesworth (8.5 sacks, 3FF) this one is less stats and more just how much he dominated that entire year

3. 2020 Derrick Henry (2027 yards rushing, 17 TDs)

4. 2004 Drew Bennett (1250 yards receiving, 11TDs)

5. 2000 Eddie George (1500 yards, 14 TDs, 450 receiving yards, 2 TDs)

I'm sure I'm forgetting something quite obvious. I'm also not counting the Oilers because I don't feel like Googling who played for them and their best season so I'm sure Earl Campbell or Warren Moon had a crazy year that belongs in the TOp 5.

Falcons are pretty easy. Most of them were with Matt Ryan at the helm.

1) 2016 Falcons - outside of SB51, this team was easily the best Falcons team of all time.

2) 2012 Falcons - Should have gone farther.

3) 1998 Falcons - Lost to a better team in the SB, beat a better team in the NFCCG

4) 2010 Falcons - Got unlucky with the draw vs. GB that year.

5) 2004 Falcons - Vick's best year and best team around him. Jim Mora was a lucky first year coach.

Just realized I missed the assignment:

2016 Matt Ryan 4900 yards, 38 TDs, 7 INTs, MVP

2015 Julio Jones 1871 receiving, 8 TDs

1998 Jamal Anderson 1850 rushing, 300 receiving, 16 TDs

2018 Matt Ryan 4900 yards, 35 TD, 7 INTs

1983 William Andrews 1567 rushing, 609 receiving, 11 TDs

1) Lamar 2019 MVP

2) Ray 2000 DPOY, Super Bowl MVP

3) Jamal Lewis 2003 OPOY, 2000-yard rusher

4) Reed 2004, DPOY

5) Lamar 2023 MVP

Honorable mention:

Ray 2003 DPOY
Suggs 2011 DPOY
Reed 2008 3rd in DPOY

It's hard to leave multiple DPOY out of the top 5, but no way I can remove Lamars 2 MVPs or J. Lewis's OPOY

2: Moss 2007

3: Gronk 2011

4. Brady 2010

5: Law 2003

1965 - Gale Sayers had 22 TDs and scored on about every 10-11 touches for the entire season - as a rookie.

1985 - Richard Dent had 17 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, 2 INTs, and 1 defensive TD. 85 Bears were one of the best defenses of all time and he was the best player on the defense.

1977 - Walter Payton put up 1852 rushing yards, 14 rushing TDs, caught 2 TDs on 27 catches, and won an MVP for his efforts.

2007 - Hester with 6 returns for TD (4 kickoff and 2 punts) to break his record of 5 returns for a TD in his rookie year just the year before. So he did this while teams had already stated to kick away from him, making this even more insane. He also transitioned to WR and had 2 TDs there as a depth piece.

1943 - Luckman led several stats as a passer and a few I think are still top ratings in NFL history for a full season. Had some INTs as a DB and punted too. Got an MVP as a Bears QB so it had to be included.

With playoffs included:

Cooper Kupp 2021 - including playoffs, possibly the best WR season of all time

Kurt Warner 1999 - MVP, Super Bowl MVP, 40+ TDs

Matthew Stafford 2021 - good stats, but more impressive is that the Rams had zero run game all year, and he led three game winning drives in the playoffs including the Super Bowl

Marshall Faulk 1999 - 1000/1000 season

Eric Dickerson 1984
