kramxel
I'm OK with this. We're damned either way, if Herbert is out. We just don't want to give up 70 to the Raiders. Clear upgrade on Easton Stick. Edited August 29 by kramxel

No QB could succeed with him.

Heinecke has starting experience, and was solid with a mostly unspectacular cast in Washington. With the situation in San Diego, if Herbert’s injury is worse than we think, Heinecke has the potential to keep them in games and win some. Most DC fans really like him. Definitely feels like an, "oh no we forgot to have a backup QB" sort of panic move on the eve of the season with an injured starter. Not like they paid much of anything for it though. So whatever. It's more on Stick being terrible, and surprising everyone, as being one of the worst QBs in pre-season, instead of one of the best true backups, like he was last year.
