QBs you have to find a way to pay and do what you can with the cap to make it happen. Same for your young studs on their second contract. For me, the likes of Jenkins and Gary must be signed and if we have to fiddle with the cap and borrow from the future so be it.

It is the 3rd contract guys who give way. I would be very reluctant at the moment to give any big money 3rd contracts out. These are the guys who give you problems cap wise usually - you often end up cutting them for dead money, they are higher injury risk and so on.

I'm just saying the salary cap is very real. It's the reason the Bucs have a weak IOL, it's the reason the Rams are weak at EDGE and CB outside of Floyd and Ramsey, it's why we have no stud WR or pass rush depth.
