As for your 'pretty largely outpaced' comment, that is BS, his contract was 23M APY and Trent Williams signed a contract later that spring for 23.01M APY. How many extensions are signed in January? Has there ever been even one?

Refugee
69 to IR, not for 4 weeks but 4 games truly hurts. At this point if he plays half of the games it’s a huge win in a **** situation.

Packerraymond
Sucks for Dave, and sucks for the 2023 Packers, but this is the best possible situation for the 2024 Packers. LT is our #1 need and will be for sure mocked to us in round 1-2. If Walker locks the position down it opens up a ton of draft flexibility next year. If he doesn't, we know we need to address that position early and often.

I know that means we need a RT.

It's a shame that we'd have to use a top 45 pick on a position we usually draft so well in later rounds. On the other hand, we don't have many "premium" positions of need outside of LT, so we probably were headed that way in the first round anyways. beekay414
If the last thing we remember about Dave is him flipping off Bears fans in an absolute beatdown win, then that's about as proper end of the road to a great career in Green & Gold as you're ever going to get.
Toddfather
This sucks. I really thought after week one he might of turned the corner on this injury. Dude was on a hall of fame path, and if this really is going to be the end that's sad. I hope he can still come back and play at a high level this year, but now I really do have doubts... 😔
BAM
Seems to have lost his love of the game. He's perfectly content to collect a QB's salary in civilian clothes rather than to practice and play with the pain... Too bad, prior to his 2020 injury he was a great LT and a fan favorite

Window very lilely closed on that option even next offseason and getting a decent return. Next man up and an opportunity for Walker and Nijman to make a claim to a starting spot
R T
Everyone seems to be writing Bakhtiari's obituary, but my gut feeling is that he is not done for the season. Of course, it could just be that chorizo burrito I had for breakfast.
