squire12
That knee injury probably had some subtle articular cartilage injury/ damage that has deteriorated over time with high load/ demand training activities. Planned staged surgeries could be cartilage salvage/ restoration type procedures. Very much not ideal, but it might be end of line type options. He's perfectly content to collect a QB's salary in civilian clothes rather than to practice and play with the pain...

Packers will have to decide whether they want to move on in '24, or keep him around again at a 21 million dollar cap hit. That's a bargain of he's a full go and 100 percent, but not to sure his knee can be trusted. Walker has a big chance to lock down this LT spot on '23. If he can do that then the Packers can move on and allot the Bak savings to other positions Edited September 28, 2023 by {Family Ghost}

Offseason training is a less stressful demand vs live action. Probably best to move on and plan accordingly.
Green19
…. Unless Walker impresses the rest of the way. Like if Walker gets after it, Tom and Walker are your OTs of the future and right now.
