So he can run a **** defense too is what you're saying?

Montgomery has been in GB since 2015 and the defense has basically been poor the whole time. He's gotta go too.

I want to see a clean sweep of the defensive staff.  Just too much failure for any of them to survive the years of ineptitude.  I'm sure a few of them will be holdovers, but I'm not sure any of them actually deserve it.

How the **** would I know? I don't work with them. Just because a defense is bad doesn't mean everyone on the staff sucks. That's just silly.

That's how it typically works though, whole new staff with new DC. Even that wasn't fair to Barry when they forced him to basically keep Pettine's staff. Made no sense then and doesn't now.

I pretty much agree with that.  The new DC should have a huge say in who stays and who goes.  If he's got his own guys in mind he should get what he wants.  It's possible the new guy might think a Ryan Downard or a Greg Williams is actually a good coach, and that would be fine as well.  I'd be surprised if Montgomery and Olivadatti survive.

Leave nothing to chance , clean sweep is in order ! Bring a fresh new attitude ! Pay top dollar for quality assistants , Gutey should be all in on that! Quite sure he would like see a new d coordinator get the most out of all the first round picks he made for the defense , unless of course they are over rated and he didn't do a good job of drafting !

Interesting article regarding Jaire's suspension. The report was he was suspended due to his joining the party at the coin toss. Not true according to this article quoting Matt LaFleur.

Regarding the reason for Alexander’s suspension, LaFleur said to the media that “it’s never one thing,” while also denying that it had anything to do with the NFL’s highest-paid cornerback missing a significant amount of time in 2023 due to injury. He also said that Alexander being suspended was not for him taking on unassigned pregame duties.

Bottom line, Jaire has been a cancer for a while. The speculation about why he wasn't put on IR seems a valid discussion point. One could speculate he wasn't put on IR because he should have been able to go well before the 5 weeks he missed.

Don't see this ending, happily ever after. I see this ending with Jaire playing someplace else next year.

The Packers have much bigger problems than Jaire Alexander calling a coin toss (msn.com)
