If its not cleaned up in the states ill be discouraged with the rest of the folks. Im just not making big changes based on 1 game. Thought we played with great energy, not a given with our opening day history. Just gotta get guys doing their jobs and not trying to make every play. Definitely need better vs the run. But the passing game is a reason to be very encouraged imo. Agree on this .. however, once again not playing starters more than a series or 2 throughout the entire preseason showed it's rust in this game. I get the idea of a starter getting hurt in a game that doesn't matter but look at all the starters hurt the 1st game throughout the league ... Love included. It's pure *** luck getting hurt and it doesn't really matter which game it happens. That being said, here's hoping Love only misses the upcoming game.

Brat&Beer
Johnny "Lumpy" Lumpkin. Sounds like somebody who played in the 1930's.

I watched him on a play or two, it looked like he was playing tug of war to get to this spot and anchor to solidify that EDGE of the pocket. Gary was coming a little stronger to pinch his side. Didn't notice LVN or Engbare much at all, but I thought LVN had one nice play, I forget if it was pass or run. The sad part was Wyatt and Brooks. I expected more from them in regards to getting a rush up the middle. I never re-watch. But just from the original viewing, I thought Preston was playing contain just fine. Let him fly. The reality is that Myers played very average on Friday. PFF graded him at 50.1 if that's your thing (which is not good). He whiffed on a couple of run plays, including the 2-pt conversion. I don't know if that means you can't win a SB with him as your starting OC, but I have said for over a year now that I don't expect Myers to be the starting OC in 2025. I think the Packers will (and should) look to upgrade.
