Then again I'm using really demanding software (Xcode, music editing, photo editing, etc) I figured this would be the case, so I’m looking to get some sort of fan dock for it to help with cooling. Effectively, what I’m trying to do is dock the MBP in a vertical dock with a USB-C stand that connects to all my peripherals. Then have a wireless keyboard, mouse, and all of that. So basically the MBP becomes the tower.

Supposedly going to have some significant changes that might actually be worth upgrading for (from my mid-2012 MBP)...
titansNvolsR#1
Is the Apple watch worth it? Went through 3 FitBits in the last 2 years as they keep dying (could be humidity related due to the Philippines). Any of you have one and recommend it? winitall
The specs on the iMac Pro are definitely nice. It's way out of my budget but it's nice to dream. Although the fully loaded one topping out at $13,000+ seems a little excessive.
D82
Any word on whether there will be any significant upgrades with the iMacs in the next year, year and a half?

pwny
Was gonna wait for WWDC to buy a new MacBook Pro. Ended up finding an incredible deal on a maxed out model, so I ended up biting the bullet and ordering one now. Won’t be quite as good as what I can get next month, but for a $600 discount, I couldn’t pass it up.

TheVillain112
So I can't get the 15in MBP without the Touch bar? Eh. Once again, I'll probably pass and just stick with my existing apple products...

Interesting. It looked gimmicky to me, what's the main benefit?

Instead of being a static row of function keys, it changes depending on what you're doing. If you're in Messages, it will have the auto-fill options, and emoji. Safari will have bookmarks, or popular pages, and tab/window options when it's a blank page. Photos gets thumbnails to scroll through and adjustment options. iWork apps get format buttons. You can always expand, and get brightness, volume, audio buttons. The Siri button is always there too. I was trying to avoid getting it because of the cost. I went refurbished, and paid the same for a top 13' as I would have for the base. Made it worth it. After having it for awhile, I get it now. It even has functions on some 3rd party apps.
