VikeManDan
@Tyty @MrDrew I'm in a similar boat with my iPhone 6. Sounds like I should wait until these new releases come out?

I ended up just getting an iPhone 8+

The speed is noticeably better but I don’t know if it’s just cause it’s the most recent one and isn’t getting throttled like older phones do since apple is a scummy company. Games play and load faster and pictures are clearer. Porn is improved considerably. Not a bad investment I’d say. I bought it with cash so it’s nice only having to worry about service charges and not that on top of the monthly cost of the phone lol
VikeManDan
Haha an honest review I can appreciate. I'm not to thrilled about the monthly payment so I may opt to do the same thing and just put on my credit card. I'll probably end up doing some research on the current ones and new releases and see what tickles my fancy. I appreciate the feedback. I'll let you know what I decide. I'd also like to get an Apple watch eventually but haven't completely come around on it yet.
BayRaider
I've been on board with Android since the first ever Galaxy phone. I think next month ill finally be joining the darkside... I never liked Apple but my girlfriend is an Apple person and wants to do facetime. Plus the iPhone X is by far the most beautiful phone I have ever seen. Ill be getting the iPhone X2. Or whatever the official name will be.

The X is a completely different animal. If you can hold on for a couple more months, the new one will come out, and you can get an X or 8 for cheaper. But the trade-in value decreases as well if you do that.

Although to be fair, most of the phones I've had have been awful. I had the EVO (literally the worst phone I've ever had) and went to the iPhone 5 I believe. deeluxx3
I was super bad about keeping my MacBook Pro software updated. It’s from 2013 and slow as hell. Currently running OSX El Capitan 10.11.6. what order of updates should I make to get this thing as up to date as possible?

You should be able to go into the App Store and download High Sierra. Install that, then install any updates still pending after that. pwny
Turning my old Mac into a home server. I’ve been considering building a computer to serve the purpose, but since that’s not exactly going quickly, I’m just going to use the iMac until I actually make the dive. Gonna use it as a data server as well as a Plex server.

I’ve been using my work laptop more as a personal one over the past few years so my maintenance of my actual computer was awful. risk of losing any files that aren’t backed up if I download high sierra? IrishGreen
where is the best place to sell your old macbook air (besides someone you know)? thinking about getting a new pro here in the next year or two, but there's really nothing wrong with this other than there's not enough RAM, etc
