You may think it's silly...and it is, but the facts don't lie. This organization, for whatever reason, hasn't been able to compete with the Yankees, period, no matter who comprises each team. Given the talent of the positional players on the Twins, and the fact mist of them could be around for a while, no one in the farm system should be untouchable. The Gnat Posted July 26, 2019 Share Posted July 26, 2019 We had a rough stretch coming out of the All Star break, but even against the Yankees were played okay. Was fun to just destroy the White Sox last night. Also managed to destroy them while going up against a good pitcher. There are deals to be made. But if we want more than just rentals, We need to pony up some cash too. These next 8 games are huge. They have to beat up on the teams they are supposed to beat up on, because playing the Braves, Cleveland and Brewers back to back to back could be a buzzsaw if our bullpen isn't improved in short order.
