If Nelson is sitting on the board @13, I'm running up to the podium & selecting him.

Otherwise, I think we should consider trading back for more picks.

With the number of QB's going early this year, we stand a good chance of 1 or more still sitting there @13.

We could trade back to the 20's & still have viable options waiting for us.

Players like DT's Vita Vea or Payne.....RB's Guice, Michol or Chubb.... Or Wr Christian Kirk, or that Safety (can't remember name?), etc.

I think this team should strongly consider trading back.

I don't disagree with this, but I think it's a little funny since your OP was about trading up haha

Not so much trading up, as much as maneuvering up.

I was hoping we could trade Kirk to say either the Jets or Denver.

Possibly swapping our 1st rounder, for theirs.

moving from #13, to say #5 or #6 respectively.

Just in position to land OG Nelson there.

But I don't want to pull some RG3 trade, to do that.

There's going to be a lot of talent, in that 2nd rd.

But Nelson would solidify our O-line for many years.

I don't think Cousins is getting traded.

I would've 1000% picked Leonard Williams over Scherff but Scherff exceeded my expectations and I consider him a "hit" of a pick. You have to hit on your top 5 picks no matter what. The Giants would've taken Scherff over Ereck Flowers if he was available so that picked kind of worked out two-fold for us. If you consider the Brandon Schreff pick to be a dumb pick, I don't know what to say. Was Sean Taylor a dumb pick in 2004 because "you don't pick a safety in the top 5"?

Scherff has exceeded my expectations of him as a guard. I still would have picked Williams, knowing what I know now.

You pick a safety in the Top 5 when the safety is an impact player like Taylor was. Taylor gets turnover. Taylor makes plays. Guards don't. Would you have passed on Taylor for Scherff? Yea, me either.

There were other players available, in that draft, that were a better pick at number 5. Beasley, Gurley, and Peterson were all better.

If this team is taking an offensive lineman in the first round, it needs to be a LT or a C.

He's a 2X Pro Bowler & hasn't missed a game or start. 46/46.

Umm ... if he's 46 of 46, then he's missed two games/starts (both in 2017).

My point is, Nelson might be the 1 pick Bruce can't screw up.

That's one seriously NASTY hex you just put on Nelson.

Do not underestimate the power of incompetency of Moron.
