Mathieu spent a lot of time in Houston when he was recovering from his drug addictions in college - spent time with John Lucas here. We shall see, I guess. showtime Posted March 14, 2018 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Tyrann Mathieu was a terrific player before his injury. I remember Mathieu with Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie making up a really fun Arizona secondary years ago. Mathieu is just a play maker with very high instincts, I think he makes a really good fit on any team. And just speaking of him as a person, what a turn-around. When he was at LSU he had gotten into trouble and that caused him to fall in the draft. Many people had low faith that he would stick around in the NFL this long.
