They SHOULD pick Barkley as the best impact player in the draft. So I voted Barkley.

That said, they would be crazy to pass up a QB like Mayfield or Rosen, and just as crazy to pass on Chubb.

Honestly the Giants cant go wrong no matter what they do, unless they pick a QB that ends up being Akili Smith, Ryan Leaf, Joey Harrington, etc

@Texas_OutLaw7- I voted for Barkley as the Best Player Available. I have questions about all the QB's. I'll admit in my fat little heart I am hoping that the Giants trade down, and take Nelson or Chubb or somebody a little later, collecting extra picks- they have many needs- but I read the rules, No. Trades. Your sandbox, your rules. I burst into tears initially, but after I recovered I voted for Barkley.

Baker. Best QB prospect in the draft.

Learn behind Eli. And continue to add pieces to the offensive line.

Baker wouldnt fit Shurmurs design, nor Dorseys MO.

Rosen doesnt either.

If they go QB, look for the big play, big arm potential of Allen to be the pick

I've been calling for Barkley for months and I'm not gonna change it now. I couldn't complain if it was a QB, though. Mayfield is my favorite in the draft and I think Darnold has the least risk associated with him out of the QBs so I'd be fine with him too. Barkley is my pick, though.

Mayfield has one of the best big arms in the country..

What about him possibly doesn't fit into a system?

He has a great arm, but his height and need to stay mobile due to that height breaks what Shurmur has historically preferred of his offense. Quick drop, big time throw.

Also, Gettleman has a history of preferring the upside of the bigger arm, which is Allen.

I feel Mayfield will be the best of this class and an instant star, but basing it entirely on track record and scheme, Allen is the best fit for the Giants.

Allen has a big arm but couldn't connect if his target was a trampoline.

I'd gladly take the guy who can connect on 85% of 50 yard bombs over the dude who could connect on 20% of 65 yarders.

Height is also a non issue. Something beat writers need to use to find issues with a prospect without actively scouting.
