skywindO2
Just speculating but I think the Packers already have a deal in place with Richard Sherman Edited March 10, 2018 by skywindO2

They aren't winning anything with kizer at qb, if the rest of the team is the same..... You win with starters. Heimdallr
Kizer is flat out terrible. Just a bad QB. GB has been completely unable to develop a QB behind Rodgers, and Kizer is not the guy to change that.

vike daddy
Zach Kruse✔@zachkruse2 If you want to break it down to the very basics, the #Packers traded a starting CB for a backup QB, $824,000 of cap space and 13 draft slots in both the fourth and fifth round.

They identified that they were not gonna to retain that CB, so traded him for some value. Something I hope we do in the coming days in a potential Waynes deal Edited March 10, 2018 by CriminalMind
SteelKing728
I'm guessing Hundley is gone now, right? This makes me sad.

vikingsrule
The Packers must have either had a high grade on Kizer coming out or think of Randall so lowly that they had to move on. After watching Hundley last year, I can't blame GB wanting to find an alternative backup on a rookie contract.

Kizer has good potential. He is a backup QB on GB obviously but he could be a future starter with other team, if\when they move him

JDBrocks
Watching Kizer come up through college, I agree that he is talented. He was brought in as a starter too soon though. He definitely needed at least two years.
