DalCowboyzRule
LeBron, Kawhi and a bunch of scrubs still doesn't beat GS. We'll see who else they add. I'm assuming they trade Lonzo, Ingram + for Kawhi.

bosko1616
Lol he won’t make the finals once during that contract. Unless the warriors implode.
HTTRDynasty
I wouldn't blow my wad on Kawhi this season if I could help it. Go after Boogie now, then Kawhi in 2019.

One of those big ticket guys in 2019 will join for sure now that LeBron is there. Think they definitely get Cousins now this year, and wait it out for Kawhi until next offseason (barring the Spurs getting anxious and pulling the trade on a trigger). I think the bigger question is, who do they get to fill out their bench?

seminoles1
The Lakers already tried to wait for a free agent once and it blew up in their face. They can't just wait on Kawhi if that's who they want.

I think LeBron's ego/legacy is important enough to the extent that he doesn't want to add any more L's to his Finals record; that is he'd much rather go the MJ route and bow out prior to the Finals and have everyone forget about it over the course of history.
