The banner - which reads 'In Frank We Trust. Then. Now. Forever' - was made at short notice last week after fans moved to raise more than £1,000.

Not seeing it atm. Anyone know Franks buyout? Want to see how it adds to the list.

It’s gonna be a relatively small one because only the first two years of his contract was guaranteed. He’ll be compensated for the last 6 months.

Roughly 2.5 mil isnt bad. They spent 4 mil to get him from Derby. Thought it would top what they got him for.

You happy with Tuchel and that Frank is gone? Ive seen a few Chelsea fans say he should have never been hired in the first place and are thrilled. Others upset he wasnt given more time. Real mixed bag.

Yep real happy. They’re right he should’ve never been hired. Tactically not good enough and man management not good enough either it appears too.

Why yall have to go allowing that 2nd goal? Trying to get rid of Roy over here. 😡

It's a tough one because Roy, or someone with a similar style (or lack of), keeps Palace in the top flight. So it's a gamble to look at someone more progressive because, and no offence, Palace are batting a bit above their average in being where they are.

Slav was good to get anything out of that squad. Surprised he had to accept a job in China. With no "at risk" squads like Nott Forest or Cardiff knocking down his door.

I think West Brom should have accepted whatever came from this season, even if it was/is relegation. They didn't invest enough to expect better. So why expect better?

Palace have the 7th highest payroll and weekly payout to players. They should be the biggest outside the top6. Roy is holding them back. They bring in the talent. But none are coached up to their fullest potential. Down in any game and Roy is on the side grinning away. The fight long gone out of him. Just going through the motions.

30+ million or more invested in their lineup than WHU, Villa, Southampton. Roy is killing them.

That doesn't tell the whole story though. Palace have signed a number of players on high wages in lieu of paying transfer fees. Especially over the last 2 or 3 seasons. Yes they have spent money on some forwards, but they have massively pulled back from competing in the transfer market.

Now they have a lot of players out of contract in the summer. On the one hand this is good as it will drive the wage bill down to a more realistic level for a club of their stature. On the other it means they will have a huge turnover of players, which is notoriously difficult to achieve alongside a decent league finish.

Whatever they do they will have to gamble. More of the same under Roy? When, assuming they stay up this season, he will have led them to their longest ever stay in the top division.

Or a more exciting prospect?

Im still new. Dont know much about the past few seasons. But looking at bad signings like Meyer and others that dont seem to be living up to their potential. Just has a feel to me they arnt pushed and are out there half the time sleepwalking. Zaha the only one looking like hes going full tilt. With Roy standing on the sideline grinning and doing nothing during matches. Anytime they go down a goal. Theres no real response at all. "Okay, we lost, lets zombie around the field the next 79 mins to get this over with."

For me. Being LSU. Matches come off feeling like theyre coached by Les Miles. Can see the talent pieces, know the team has balance. And win a game here and there in spite of the coaching by talent alone. Cause if they had only spent the budget of Leeds or Southampton. I say theyd be battling Sheffield United for bottom spot. Give a guy like Sean Dyche this budget and team. And theyre Evertons equal.
