Oh wow! Okay so you just really don't like Luck that much. Stafford and Dalton? Dang dude did Luck slash your tires a few years ago or something? That's harsh.

It's more harsh to Stafford than it is to Luck.

Since 2014, Luck and Dalton have identical 91.6 QB ratings.

Stafford's is a few points higher at 93.7.

The narrative seems to differ with the numbers.

Easily the Raiders. All we really have at this point is the 3 rookie D-linemen who hopefully can develop into nice players. Maurice Hurst is already pretty good...Arden Key and PJ Hall have flashed. Seriously other than that on defense we have nothing. Offense has some talent but is just a disaster. Nothing is working right now. Kolton Miller was actually playing ok the first 3 weeks but since his MCL sprain he has been beyond awful and the other rookie OT Brandon Parker has been pretty bad and its pretty much destroying the offense.

Except...he's had Reggie Wayne and TY Hilton at the same time and still didn't blow their stats out of the water. The only thing Luck is good for is amassing bulk stats on bulk passing attempts. That's it.

Dude really? Are you just trolling?

In what world is it considered justifiable to say that DeShaun Watson is "without a doubt better" than Luck?

You say Luck is only good for "amassing stats on bulk passing attempts", which is so stupid its cringe-worthy. But you up the ante on stupidity considering you had also just said that DeShaun Watson is by far superior.... LoL

I mean....do you not see the irony here? Watson is still living off his 7 games last season in which he had terrific and unsustainable stats yet couldn't win > 50% of his games.....and this year he has been solid mostly, considering his OL play.

Yet Luck literally won 11 games for 4 consecutive seasons as soon as he entered the league, all while advancing further and further in the postseason and while playing on some pretty horrible Indy teams that had egregious OL play, zero run games, and whose best defenders were Vontae Davis and a 34 y/o Robert Mathis on PEDs....

Not trying to pick on Watson bc I like him, but your take on Luck is borderline insane

Watson's stats are better or on the same level as they were last year, except for the TD's which was a ridiculous pace anyways. It's not like he's regressed in any way, and he's playing with a worse run game and OL.

I would like to congratulate Andrew Luck on single-handedly winning 11 games in the first 4 years in what was by far the worst conference in football. What a tremendous accomplishment that was, especially considering he only hit a 90 QBR once in that 4 year span (2014). And you want to talk about winning games?

Luck is always among the league leaders in passing attempts and passing yards. This year he's on pace to break the NFL passing attempts mark in a single season (again), despite coming off of not throwing for a year. He's absolutely a bulk stat king - always has been. And we shouldn't really talk about Luck's playoff stats, because they're pretty abysmal.

Luck is overrated. Always has been, and it seems like he will continue to be overrated. The only time he should've been considered a top 10 QB was 2014. Every other year before and since then it's been pretty much league average for Luck.

Did you ignore his 2016 season 4240 Yards 31 TDs 13 Int and 96.4 rating isn't average that's a good (not great) season. Also do you see the weapons he's working with this year by far one of the worst wr crops in the NFL.

Why do people use QBR? It’s a terrible stat. Anytime ESPN tries to use it to compare QBs I cringe. It’ll die in 5-6 years, ESPN just being stubborn.

I don't think you can use one stat and determine this guy is better than that guy.

I personally look at the eye test, passer rating, PFF grades and make an own opinion who is better. One stat is never going to tell the story and QBR is really the worst stat you can find.

You're right. 2 years of his career where he's been good.
