Is that the light at the end of the tunnel? (O.T. Thread)

There’s a reason you never see or hear about tornados being anywhere close to a downtown area.

The insane temperature fluctuations surrounding skyscrapers and buildings completely screws with cold / hot air fronts.

In Cleveland? I saw a video of the lighning storms in Detroit/Toledo/Cleveland last night. Holy cow. It looked like the heat lightning you see in Florida in the middle of summer.

It was definitely thunderstorming in Columbus with some lightning, but nothing like it was up north.

It’s been gnarly at night in Toledo the last two nights.

Just in case anybody cares there were 8 confirmed tornado touchdowns in the area that very fateful night. Including a swathe of destruction a half mile away. Consider yourselves lucky you still have me around.

Just to keep my egocentrism going we are up to 11 confirmed tornado touchdowns including the one 1/2 mile from my place of residency. To go along with major flooding and 3 earthquakes.

I have heard the Greater Northeast Ohio Department of Tourism is looking to hire me as a sales associate. Should I accept?
