Week 9 GDT - Green Bay (3-3-1) @ New England (6-2)

Leader

I feel good about this matchup despite how hard it is to win at Foxboro. I think the game against the Rams, even though it was a loss, was a turning point for the Packers. As long as they play with the same commitment as against the Rams, I see a win. I'm also waiting for Brady's arm to turn into a noodle, maybe his coming off a (slightly) shorter week, having played late last Monday, helps that along.

Word of warning. I expected that to happen to Brees as well (and bet on them getting just 5 wins all season), they are currently 6-1.

Still too early in the season for that.
After Thanksgiving is when the wear & tear of the season starts to show in the elder statesmen. Brees too
And especially in the cold weather of January.
AFC playoffs are likely in cold NE, cold KC, cold PItt, cold BAL, warm LAC, dome Houston
NFC playoffs are looking like LA warm, Nawlins dome, Lambeau cold, minny dome, CHI cold, Philly cold, CAR warm, WASH cold

One guy I've always liked since forever is Jason McCourty. That being said, every time I see a Patriots game lately, he is getting beat for big yardage and TD's.

Jason or Devin?  Devin has always been the better NFL guy

Devin took a 70+ yard INT to the house against Buffalo last Sunday.
It was a lousy pass // not much effort was required - but still....cant fault a guy for cashing in on an easy one.

Is Aaron Rodgers the greatest quarterback of all time?

According to Rodgers, that honor belongs to Tom Brady.

"He's got five championships," Rodgers told reporters Wednesday. "I think that ends most discussions."

I have no idea how this game plays out. I feel like if we win we  could get on a roll after this game. I also feel if we loss we could go on a slide in a big way too.

Not encouraging Whitehead didn't practice today. I'd like to see Josh Jones get a shot at free safety.

Anybody know who we've added to replace Dix and Montgomery?
