Here we go... let's see how PFF does with a whole season of "data" under their belt...

A disclaimer: I do not own a PFF subscription but my friend does and sent me this list to post it. PFF is obviously flawed, and in some cases downright laughable, I do not necessarily share their opinions on the top/worst players. Still, this should be interesting. Keep in mind their new player grade scale lists players via a 1-100 format. Also keep in mind that players who do not have a certain Snap % are not included (not sure what exactly the minimum snap count is... I think its like 25%).

Let's here the chorus of boos... I know Derrick Henry turned it up the last couple weeks... but 2nd best RB in the NFL? Hah.

For the most part, PFF usually gets these right insofar as “these 5 guys were good and these 5 guys were bad”. There’s usually some oddities in there every year or players who are mis-graded because their role doesn’t fit what they’re being expected to do. But outside of the few randomly placed guys that seemingly don’t belong anywhere near where they end up, and squabbles about which guy they belongs over which, there’s usually at least something that you can look at and say “I don’t agree with these, but at least 85% of guys are in or close to the right tier”.

That all said, what is going on with these secondary rankings? Whole lot of oddities there.

Sounds about right for the Browns. Wouldn't say Chubb was the best RB, but he was up there. And I'm also not sure if I'd necessarily put Bitonio and Zeitler in the top five, but they both had very good years.

Not surprising to see Coley, Charles or Kindred near the bottom. Coley was decent for us last year as a UDFA, but he proved this year that he should not be a starter.

Kevin Byard makes a lot of sense here though.

I think he deserves it.

There’s some that deserve to be there. But more so than any other group, I think there’s some head scratchers, as well as some omissions (and placement of those omissions) that really doesn’t make any sense at all.

No Chris Jones or Dee Ford? I’m curious where they landed.

Iirc I saw Chris Jones at like 8th or 9th, just missed the cut.

Jones is 8th, Ford is 9th.
