Scoundrel Posted January 18, 2019 Share Posted January 18, 2019 (edited) If someone wants to extend their player on a rookie contract to a four year deal and lose the chance at RFA and possibly getting a pick or matching an offer for a long term deal they should have that right. After the two years he would have to three up Carson. It’s really not a decision that hurts anyone and it’s not in the rules.
