They tagged Ford and may trade him, but no way can a bad D afford to lose both of them imo. They need to do as much as possible while Mahommes is on his rookie deal. If they can get a 1st for Ford higher than their own natural 1st, they could possibly afford to lose both, given that Chris Jones can certainly play SDE (any DE really) in an even front - he's certainly athletic enough - just likely shaded more to the 4-Tech. And they do have Breeland Speaks, who is a more natural DE than he ever was a OLB, and a wild card in Kpassagnon. Spags does have that preference, generally, for having a larger DL. Granted, they'd likely have one of their two 1sts tabbed for an EDGE guy at that point which would make them vulnerable (possibly to the point of trade-up inducing paranoia) to being traded in front of by teams pegging them to target an EDGE.
