ny92mike
Giants first round pick ups Cameron Wake - DE My first priority after announcing that my team was switching back to a 43 defense, was to find a filler at DE. Wake provides a decent player while we continue to search for something more long term. Henry Anderson - DT We've got some big guys on DT that really are more suited for stopping the rush, so adding Anderson we believe gives us a better pass rusher inside on 3rd and longs. Dez Bryant - WR Bryant is bit of a homer pick being a OSU fan, but if he can get healthy and that's a big if, and another big if that he doesn't retire. He's the kind of player that could help out the receiving core. I think Bryant and Odell with Sheppard in the slot and Evan Engram would make a solid group. Total spent 10.2 million Missed out on Tyrann Mathieu - S and Trenton Brown - T which is really where I put my higher bids combined total of 15.2 million. Losing to bids respectfully $15,800,000 & $14,000,000. Round 2 here we come.

Deadpulse
The Minnisota Vikings enter the FA bidding with 1 thing in mind, the trenches. With that said the Vikings are happy to welcome: Mike Iupati - G We didnt want to break the bank and felt like Iupati was the perfect fit to pair with newly acquired C Nick Martin. It is not the flashy signing, but the Vikings believe he marks a sharp rise in talent along the offensive line to help stabilize a shaky unit from 2018. Dee Ford - DE Dee Ford is viewed as a pass rusher by the Vikings. He will bot be replacing Anthony Barr as some have speculated, but enhancing the pass rush with his hand in the dirt as well as from the LB position. We view him as a movable rushing specialist who can stunt with our new interior star as well as shoot the A gap and be a bonafide stud edge rusher. His versatility rushing the passer makes the price tag worth it. The Vikings were also hoping to land CJ Mosely to help the LB core more in more of a traditional way but the cards did not fall that way. Ndamukong Suh - DT Suh comes off a super bowl run cut short by the incomparable New England Patriots, but his production cant be questioned. Pairing him with Dee Ford, the Vikings believe this defense will be a unit to be scared of if you are an opposing QB.

Frankly, your moves didn't make much sense. 🤣🤣🤣 Kwon was top 5 according to PFF in 2017 and 2018 was top 15 for 2019 before injury, bucs 2019 team as a whole was trash, and the defense was horrible with literally no one in the secondary and no one generating pass rush. Easily will bounce back and be a top 5 LB Haha was rated top 10 before his trade to WAS. Was imploded after the Smith Injury. Honey Badger wouldve been rated higher if he wouldve maintained his normal role he was used to, he had to change and was still ranked top throughout the yeae, untill Houston lost some keys games. Overall all 3 players coming in can easily turn this defense around. Well worth the $ spent.

Deadpulse
The New England Patriots, fresh off ANOTHER Super Bowl victory, did not come out of round 1 like they had hoped. However, we feel like capitalizing on some of the more overlooked talent in forthcoming rounds will make up the difference. While it is not ideal to see Trent Brown go, we have faith in youngster Isaiah Wynn can step in and take over the role. The devastating loss is Space Ghost. However, the Patriots are happy to welcome back Corderelle Patterson to continue his super utility role at what really is a hometown discount. We are also happy to welcome newcoming... Adam Humphries - WR The Patriots believe that Adam is the missing link in this passing game. He just belongs on the Patriots, doesnt he? In the same mold as Amendola, we think Adam will have a career year here taking some of the load of Julian's shoulders as the #2 option. Even if Josh Gordon is able to return, Humphries will easily carve out a significant role the Patriots were drastically missing in 2018.

And this past year was 2018, so I am guessing you mean 2016, 2017, and 2018? You just paid elite LB money for a guy who isn't that. Haha is an average to above average FS, which is why Green Bay traded him. I wouldn't criticize the move if you got him cheaper. However, signing both him and Tyrann makes no sense. Brad McDougald was quite good last year as Seattle's SS. He's under contract for two more years. There's no reason to replace him. In that scenario, Mathieu ends up as your slot CB. That's a lot of money for a slot CB . . . but wait, you just gave a massive contract to Bryce Callahan, who is also a slot CB. Hell, Mathieu doesn't even fit at SS in that scheme. Your moves don't make much sense for that scheme.

My ET bid wasn't that far off, but I'll be damned if everything else wasn't blown out the water. I originally had a bid in for Jason Verrett too, and I was willing to give 1.1m; he went for 5... I was just way off on this one.
ny92mike
Granted this mock is extremely easy to free up money so the bidding is high but it's high across the board, but perhaps we can learn a little from this mock draft. yeah yeah the free agency isn't anything like the real tcmd bidding experience BUT, I'm finding myself not tossing a lot of money at players because of a couple reasons, I don't wanna blow my load on the first hooker I see so I'm reserving for later rounds and second because when all of my bids are totaled and that is my limit, it makes it a little more difficult. Anyway, I kinda like the set up. Sure I'm not running away with any real talent but I'm having fun all the same.

Would have been closer to what you bid. Nobody is throwing $5 million at him with his injuries without it being heavy on incentives. He might get a $1.5 to $2 million base + bonus with incentives that could push it much higher.
