To limit the number of matching offers, would you guys be cool if prior to seeking a new bid from the teams with matching contract offers that we include the order that you placed your bid.

So for example,

Team A bid 5 million on player x using Bid #3

Team B bid 5 million on player x using Bid #2

In this sample team B would be awarded the player because they saw this player as a higher priority?

Because the contracts are one year deals, we're going to be seeing more contracts with matching offers and I"m just looking for a way to reduce that number while still keeping it fair and figured we could view the Bid number as the priority, showing that the team is more vested in signing that player, than an offer used in Bid #5.

We'll keep the rule as is for this round of bidding tonight because I don't need you guys to resort your bids to account for this new rule.

Things haven't changed much from the last FA report, the only thing that has changed is the number of bids placed has jumped from 109 to 142.  Overall 63% success rate still stands strong and the percentage the league bidding over the expected APY is the same.
