The only team that they couldn't get past in the West was the Warriors and they had a 3-2 lead in 2018 before CP3 got hurt. Great players can adjust their games to play with other great players we saw it in Miami and Golden State.

Harden and Westbrook are the two most ball dominant players in the league. Westbrook can't shoot and he doesn't do anything off ball particularly well. Its a mediocre fit. thrILL!
The 2 biggest ballhogs in the league in the same backcourt- what could go wrong?

Harden and Westbrook have the highest USG% in the league. Difference between being ball dominant and being the guy people use as an example of ball dominant. Pastor Dillon
We faltered last year because we were intent on running iso for 48 minutes per game and CP3 couldn’t take his turn anymore. I figure Harden/Westbrook will be alternating iso plays for 48 minutes a night every game.
Kip Smithers
10 hours ago, NYRaider said: LeBron and Wade weren't ball dominant players? Curry and KD weren't ball dominant players? Curry is the best off ball player in the league. No comparison. Secondly GS players a style that does very little iso. As for Bron and Wade, they did struggle in the first year. Plus one part of the duo is one of the GOATS. Also Wade eventually took a backseat. Wade could also catch off the dribble and penetrate rather than just sit in the corner like Russ and Harden. Not a good comparison

Wade adapted and deferred to lebron. He became one of the best off ball cutters in history. Harden and Westbrook just stand there uninterested when they don’t have the ball.
Pastor Dillon
Last year Westbrook had one of the worst 3 point shooting seasons in history, but on 3s he made, 61% of them were assisted. Harden had the 2nd most made 3s of all time last year and only 16% were assisted. Basically the rockets need to convince Westbrook to never create his own 3 and let harden set him up. Harden on the other hand needs to keep chucking away on those step backs.
Leader
RWB's got something he stood little chance of seeing again under contract with OKC.......a legit shot at winning something. I think he'll recognize its Harden's team and mold his game to the overall benefit of both/the lineup. In other words, I think it can work.
