I’m not even convinced he’d make our defense noticeably better. What? He'd be replacing Tramon Williams in the slot. It's a massive upgrade now and into the future.

An upgrade? Sure. It’s still a luxury. Our secondary is in better shape than it’s been since we won the super bowl. Our resources need to start going into the other side of the ball. Everyone's favorite PFF had him as the top rated slot guy last year .. or at least that's what I read on the interwebs. He did look like garbage last week, but I want to blame that one the messy situations the Dolphins are in.
FinneasGage
Would 100% offer the first

I don't think the risk is high at all though.

I'm usually on the hell no train for trading any draft capital, but w/ Mink only a year into a the rookie deal & it being like maybe a 20% chance we draft at a better talent at 24-32, I'm on board with it. Even tho they're for sure not gonna do it

Take my first .. maybe we can try to coax a 3rd or 4th back from them. 22 year old top 5 level slot corners with incredible position flexibility don't come along every day. He's a legit player with star potential.
Rodjahs12
I’m not going to be too upset if we do it, I’m sure he’d thrive here and we’d be set for the next 5+ years in our secondary but I really want a tackle or (sorry outpost) one of those receivers at the end of the first in this class which is borderline generational. {Family Ghost}
The Packers love versatility .... doesn't get much better than Fitzpatrick. The Dolphins lined him up everywhere as a rookie. https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/2019/06/01/the-nfls-11-best-slot-defenders/8/
spilltray
It's a passing league and Fitzpatrick can definitely play. That combo, Alexander and King on the edges, Amos and Savage at S and Fitzpatrick in the slot is a matchup nightmare for opponent's offenses. You could easily run that in a 3-3 base look.
ThatJerkDave
Guys, I already traded all of our draft picks so we can get Albert O.
Macc_Aviv
I have a strange feeling that Minkah is actually going to end up in Green Bay.
Dubz41
IIRC, if Minkah would've been there for our pick we wouldn't have traded down, we would have taken him. If Gute thinks that highly of him we should get him. The kind of sacrifice (#1 pick) you need to become elite. Just try to get back a day two pick.
