AFlaccoSeagulls
I wish the Ravens would've traded for Kiko just to cut him the day after.

He is literally the Lavar Arrington of his time doing whatever the hell he feels like doing and getting forced fumbles and interceptions by being nowhere near where he's supposed to be, but he's fast, and fans love that." He's not a bad option to bring in against speedy packages, to be fair. That was an excellent summary. Kiko is a rogue freelancing narrow player who is mostly awful while allowing one big play after another, but since he's active enough he does find the vicinity and inherit some turnovers between all the lousy plays. Fans have a name recognition far above Kiko's ability or performance level, because he's always good for at least 2-3 high profile examples per season of a late hit or something that draws the ire of opposing teams while keeping the camera focused on Kiko for at least a minute or two. He actually ran to the wrong sideline one time because otherwise he was in a lull of those high profile rogue plays. Following last season Kiko was high on the list of players who Dolphin fans thought would be gone for 2019. I have no idea why this is a surprise. It was speculated on the top Dolphin message boards throughout the offseason.
Kiwibrown
Whenever I watch YouTube highlights, there is one common denominator, kiko falling over as someone runs by
Dome
@TheKillerNacho At least one Saints writer hates this move for the Saints Unfortunately, it's a joke of an article and the guy seems to have serious beef with Kiko... But he calls Beigel a "special teams ace." So that's good. (don't read the Saint's fans comments if you want to keep the optimism about Beigel that this article will bring)

I won't call him a bum but his cover skills are horrible. As long as they don't have him drop back I think kiko will be fine He'll be competing with AJ Klein to be the #3 (base package aka our run stopper) LB behind Davis and Anzalone who is nursing an injury right now and it's not like Klein is some coverage specialist. Most teams #3 LBer isn't gonna be strong in all facets of the game, so I think Kiko fits the mold considering what we are expecting of him. He hasn't played a ton of special teams based on what I read, but given his speed and willingness to hit I think they'll throw him out there and see what he can do. I don't see why he couldn't turn into a ST ace of his own, like the article above called Vince Biegel. Oregon Ducks
He'll start for the Saints. Good for Kiko. He goes from a total dumpster fire to an NFC contender. Edited September 3, 2019 by Oregon Ducks
frenchie
Kiko is a solid player, but I don't really see where he fits in with the Saints. They're pretty much set at LB. Beigel is an ascending player. He'll probably challenge for a starting role in MIA. Still surprised GB gave up on him so quickly.

It looks like he is coming off possibly his best statistical season in the NFL and is only 29 years old. I didn't catch many Dolphins games last year so maybe I'm missing something, but I always thought Kiko was a pretty talented player. You have missed the last 5 years of football. Kiko isn't a good player at this point, but it doesn't mean that this is a bad trade. Kiko has never been the same since he tore his ACL... twice

Kiko has never been the same since he tore his ACL... twice Kiko did have 125 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 3 interceptions, and 6 pass deflections last year. In other words, I admittedly haven't watched him play much recently, but given the stats he is out there making a solid amount of splash plays, and has made a decent amount of tackles as well. Now maybe he has blown quite a few assignments and such as I haven't watched him play, but I have a hard time believing that type of production wouldn't be a solid addition for us as our 3rd/4th best LB on our team. RuskieTitan
I remember him having a big rookie season, then being part of the Shady trade iirc.

He’s a solid special teams player but the Saints have lots of those types of guys. Kiko will be the Saints #4-5?LB. The challenge is that the Saints #4 LB, Robinson, is hurt. The Saints #3 LB, AJ Klein, is coming off an injury. And the Saints #2, stud Alex Anzalone, is coming off an injury and frequently injured. The Saints are set at LB but the wheels were wobbling before trading for Kiko.
