The thing is, if the Patriots weren't in on this from the beginning and orchestrating all the ridiculous behavior, why would they risk $9M on a guy who looks like he won't be worth keeping around until Week 2?

After he was released, Brown confided his evil plan to BB, who was impressed and immediately struck a deal

Except it's actually 15M vs. 30 because I dont believe he intended to every play for Oakland and as long as he does play for NE he will get the full 15.

And if NE cuts him, it’ll be $9M. You’re using the conclusion of your opinion as a basis for the opinion itself, lol.

“He tampered to get out of Oakland, he’s making more money this way.”

But he’s not making more money...

”Yes he is, because he never planned on playing there.”

and its not 15 vs 30 either.

it was 30 for the life of the old contract

Brown will eclipse that with his next offseason deal

Assuming he doesn't get himself shipped out of New England.  A knucklehead like Brown would be much wiser to take the guaranteed money he had already signed for, IMO.

oh, he wont.

hes gonna go the whole year and stay gold.

That wouldn't surprise me.  The problem with that is that how does a guy go from being a total knucklehead to suddenly making it through a whole season somewhere else - and for less money?

Brown is going to be an angel with the Pats this year. I guarantee that

its the way Oakland treated him.

They didnt appeal to his pride or secret genius.

BB knows a genius when he sees one. AB will be turned.

Bill has a way of vibing with strong personalities. Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, James Harrisson, Rodney Harrisson, Michael/Martellus Bennett, he’s got a decent history of working with what some would consider “problem” players.

I’m not convinced Brown will be a success story in NE, though.

I get what you're saying. I just don't see it the same way you do. I genuinely think AB is that petty.
