I don’t know.

You outright rejected the idea of taking a safety at #17. Since we have no idea what the board will end up looking like, that surprised me. I wanted to understand your thought.

That's not true I did not outright reject the idea of a safety, if that safety is a number one safety versus any old defensive tackle big fat guy. But if a big-time defensive tackle is there and a number one safety is there then I want the big fat guy that's what I was saying

Total baller. I’m completely convinced that the old coaching staff would have had no idea how to maximize his talent. Would the new staff?

I totally agree with you with the old staff. To me I would play him at strong safety to roam the field. He's a Predator.

Ertz

Goddard

Engram

Hooper?

Kittles

Andrews

These are all the good TEs we are facing next year. I would love to see him glued to them to take them out of their game.

I think there’s a greater possibility given Green Bay’s history of drafting DBs. But with Simmons being an oddly sized LB, who knows.

With the possible switch to a 3-4, is there a possibility of drafting Simmons to play LB next to LVE and move Jaylon to the weak side OLB who can rush and drop in coverage? DLaw playing the strong side OLB who doesn’t drop into coverage almost ever? Or is it a pipe dream cuz Jaylon is too undersized to hold the edge and bang with Olineman every play?

He took longer to declare than I thought and was beginning to wonder if he was staying....

Dallas at 17, seems like it's not out of the question.

Y'know...I could see him being a Justin Smith-esque player for us under Nolan/Tomsula.
