But their legacy became cemented when they maintained their performance against Griese, McNair, Gannon, and Collins. If the Ravens had ONLY played that list of QBs, their resume would be tainted. And that's where there is still that argument with the Pats, is they've only really played the crap so far. By season's end they could easily have a better opposing resume than the 2000 Ravens did. But not yet. Jackson, Wentz, Prescott, Mahomes, and Watson, along with whoever they play postseason, would be a more impressive slate than what the 2000 Ravens went up against....but they have to get to those games first.
SkippyX
How about the 2002 Bucs? 0-6 Bad Thumb Warner of 2002 (3 TDs 11 picks on the year) Aaron Brooks x2 (his TD/INT and rating were better vs Tampa than the other 14 games) Chris Redman Akili Smith Vick in his 6th career start replaced by Doug Johnson McNabb who was bad in about 30% of his career starts We are talking about an 81.5 rated QB from 2000-2003 (years 2-5) TO came later He averaged a 115 rating in 3 games that year (vs a 7-9 team and a pair of 5-11 teams) and a 72 rating in the other 7 (including about an identical rating vs Tampa and the next 2 games) Randy Fasani (who?) Culpeper outside of his 3 good seasons (he lead the league in picks in 2002) He was a weird dude who dominated in 2004 and put up beast stats in 2000 and 2003 and did not do much else. Rodney Peete (at least not Fasani twice?) Favre (HoF QB having a very good year) Vick in his 14th career start (yes, they prevented him from running) Mike McMahon Tommy Maddox Henry Burris / Corey Sauter (double who??) N4L
For the last few years the pats defense would be so so and then all of a sudden December and January would roll around and they would suddenly be super tough to score on. Seemed like BB always has a way of coming up with some unique gameplan for that week and the other team can't figure out what to do This year, Bill went straight into playoff mode. Should be a super fun game on Sunday night

Should be a super fun game on Sunday night I like Patricia and liked Flores for as little as we saw, but with Belichick running the defense it’s clearly just different. I will always remember that Super Bowl as 2 QBs taking a beating from 2 very good defenses. The man won while the little boy lost.

So much talent at all levels. And now seeing all the QBs written down four years later...might have to start talking about them being one of the Goats

There were 10 guys on that defense playing at a Pro Bowl level, and everyone was playing fast and confident football. Coming up short year after year gave them a fire too. They made the game-deciding play almost every week that season, it was unbelievable. I doubt there's ever been a more "clutch" defense. And the effect that defense had on some quarterbacks is worth noting too. Trevathan lacerated Luck's kidney. They damn near destroyed Cam in those two games. And Rodgers didn't look quite right for a while after the Broncos game. It seemed like that was a shock to the system that it took Rodgers a bit to shake off.

Cheesehawk
The only defenses to allow more rushing yards to the Ravens are the Bengals and the Dolphins.
