Feel like everyone's ignoring the elephant.

Wherever McDaniels goes Brady should follow. No sense starting completely from scratch at 43. Mayfield can sulk at the goat for a year or two or get traded. And we acquire a SB ala Denver with Peyton. Tom and Josh prove it wasn't just BB and the Browns actually become relevant and competitive. Everybody's happy.

Yes and no, what we're competing for now is assistant coaches.

Especially if it's McDaniels (fingers crossed it isn't anyway) because the Giants coach who came from the Pats already has a jump on their mutual connections

Haha. Zero percent chance Brady comes here.

It's about Full-Spectrum Leadership Acumen, Program/Culture Building Ability, Communication & Vision, Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Alignment, and the Ability to Effect Positive Change.

Not exclusively OC/DC Prowess.

Based on all the info I've come into contact with during this process, my ranking of the candidates based on my perception of their balance of those Head Coaching traits is the following:

1.) Jim Schwartz

2.) Kevin Stefanski

3.) Brian Daboll

4.) Eric Bieniemy

5.) Josh McDaniels

6.) Robert Saleh

7.) Greg Roman

Myles Garrett in a wide-9 technique is just one of the funniest things of all time. More speed to power, sharper angle, Myles plays the whole season he gets the sack record.

I wonder how Schwartz and McDaniels are going to mesh personality-wise as Schwartz is a brilliant mind and sees Belichick as a father-figure; I just hope he doesn't see McDaniels as a little piss-ant unworthy of the Belichick branding.

Lost in the sauce of Josh's previous jobs is how poorly he reportedly managed assistant coaches and communicated with them. Hopefully, if we pair Schwartz and him they don't lead to political in-fighting.

Why can't we do Stefanski; O'Connell; and Schwartz... that feels stable and powerful... Truckstop Jimmy Just Do It...

Add in maybe Kellen Moore as the QB's coach/Passing game Coordinator......

Jim Schwartz personality would fit in. He’s extremely aggressive and emphasizes toughness and physicality.

Biggest problem I'd have with him is that his teams in Detroit were really undisciplined and we already have that problem.

Wouldn't hate him as HC, but would love him as DC.
