Titans_Matt
I would love to see this become a NBA G league type thing except more well covered Edited February 8, 2020 by Titans_Matt
y*so*blu
Oh dear. Seattle would have had to settle for a field goal but DC ran into the kicker. First down for the Dragons. Jim Zorn calls "slug-o seam," which I remember the Buccaneers jumping on all day long in Super Bowl XXXVII. The Defenders jump on it too, but draw another flag. rob_shadows
Okay getting to hear the conversation between the replay official and the ref during reviews is awesome

y*so*blu
The AAF had their review officials mic'd up too, except no one was watching. Big spot coming up here ...
Ragnarok
I am shocked at how much I'm enjoying this. Hearing the play calls which the announcers can explain pre-play, hearing the refs discuss, and mid-game interviews with players are all awesome additions. And the NFL should adopt that kick off rule immediately.

LowMotorGuy
They should not run pro style offenses in the XFL LMAO
y*so*blu
Wow! DC may have just iced this game. Up two scores and they secure another turnover.
Ragnarok
Oh, and brilliant decision by the XFL to really embrace all things betting and having the announcers talk about it frequently. Betting will get people fully invested in the league quicker than anything.

Aim for them, offer them a paycheck and release them from contractual obligations after they reach their third year and become draft eligible. If I'm a five star RB, which sounds more appealing - playing football at college for nothing, or playing three seasons of XFL Football for $1.5mm? Competing against the NFL isn't smart. Competing against the NCAA? That's a dog that can hunt.
