Looks like the type of flag for illegal formation, but if that was the only flag thrown and it was called holding, then that is BS The only penalty called was a hold. It's a possibility that ref threw it for some pre-snap penalty that got overruled though, which no one seems to be considering.

They didn't call it but with the holding they were obviously taking that regardless.

Granted, not enough credit has been given the to the Titans' OL's run-blocking this season, but this isn't a Melvin Gordon situation where the stats belie a player who is better than he actually is. Henry is the Titans' offense. He knows it, his agent knows it. He just got done leading the league in rushing; he's never going to post a stronger season to cash in on (unless he wins an MVP which we all know damn well the NFL isn't awarding to that to a RB anytime in the next decade-plus). Plus, tagging him means that you're giving more leverage to Tannehill in long-term contract negotiations (when you've - you, specifically, not the Titans - already established reservations about extending him long-term) because they currently have no QB's under contract going into next season, and any QB they bring in in free agency that has franchise QB bona fides, or potential ones, is going to demand top dollar. Also, the RB franchise tag amount (Gurley's extention cap-hit kicks in, Zeke's extension kicks in, both factor into the equation) is closer to $12.5M than it is $10M. You mean he would pull a LeVeon if they tagged him? Also I was informed yesterday teams get a transition tag and franchise tag this offseason because of the impending CBA so they could tag Tannehill too. Tannehill certainly didn't increase his leverage in these playoffs IMO. Henry carried them to this point and Tannehill didn't look that impressive in this game or the other two. Also thanks for the numbers update Edited January 19, 2020 by Kirill
AFlaccoSeagulls
Once KC stopped Derrick Henry on those early downs it was over. In terms of reffing, that DPI call on Brock Sr. I thought was bogus because he clearly turned his head around to play the ball.

RavensDefense3
If they lock up tannehill they're going to keep being in mediocrity. What they've accomplished is due to luck this season. Worst AFC championship team in a while.

This defense has been getting mad underrated. They balled out tonight. Suggs was also a perfect addition.

Period. I would say their defence needs to get pressure more than a QB. They had almost no pressure on Mahomes, so either get 2 shutdown CB's (pricey) or get a pass rusher (lots on the market this year)
