Man, y’all must miss the days of Chuck Frye and DeShone Kizer.

Do you know what happens when teams get cash strapped to average QBs?

Here, let’s give another similar situation. Do you think Jameis should get 30 mil from Tampa Bay?

There is a middle ground.

No QB is making 40 million as of now.  Super mediocre Baker isn’t gonna be the first.

20-25?  Yeah, maybe. That’s the going rate for a starting QB.

By the time we are paying Baker OBJ won't even be in the top 10 (wouldn't be surprised if it's actually outside the top 15) of WRs in terms of annual salary.. If your justification for trading him is saving money.. idk man. To me that's a bargain.

I think everyone wanting to dump OBJ bothers me more than it should lol. I can't believe the way Browns fans are wanting to dump him after an injury riddled year where he and Baker had no chemistry and he still went over 1,000 yards. This year was basically his worst case scenario. He still had the 4th best WR season a Browns receiver has produced since we returned in '99!!! And that's ranking Jarvis Landry this year ahead of him. He's a special talent.. how many special talents have we had in Cleveland in the last 20 years? Josh Gordon? Joe Thomas? Kellen Winslow (LOL)? Can't we just be grateful to have such a talented player, live with one down year and realize that he should absolutely be an enormous asset moving forward?

I almost don't even wanna see all the people who turned on OBJ get to enjoy his success next year and in the future.

The thing people have to realize is OBJ is making on average 18 Million dollars a year with the contract he signed through the Giants.

HOWEVER, the giants paid ALL their guaranteed money to be able to trade him.  so the amount we are paying is actually only 15 Million dollars a year.

So to us Odell only costs 15 million a year which RIGHT NOW puts him tied for the 10th highest paid WR in the NFL.

When baker gets paid that will be 15-20 EASY.

His contract is too good to get rid of...
