So if you give me normal Kirk Cousins that shows up in big moments than I'm A-OK with that. But, that's exactly the point. Cousins chokes big time under pressure. I can definitely see him going through his entire career without a Super Bowl. It's just bound to happen. But, who wants a QB like that? Nobody. They want the guy who can win the game on a 35 second drive. So, you're living in a fantasy land if you want Minshew to be anything like that. If he bombs and the teams struggles they can get a new HC, who can pick his QB in the 2021 draft. Exactly
LowMotorGuy
He is the Jake Plummer of this era.

He's definitely earned the right to compete to be the starter and Jacksonville didn't need to sell the farm for Tua/Herbert, but they can't go into training camp with Uncle Rico as the unquestioned starter. indifference
Tank for Trevor Lawerence thats the answer. Gardner Minshaw is not a starter quality qb

Look at the stats and tape from Minshew's rookie season, Plummer was quite inaccurate, threw as many td's as int's, Minshew performed better statistically than any other rookie qb lol and he held his own with his failing team and disgusting coaching situation
blizofoz45
He might become a starter if he can learn how to emotionally handle winning a couple games. Nobody is a rockstar in week 3. Ask Ryan Fitzpatrick if you need confirmation.
Mega Ron
He has balls, and some ability. I like him in the league. The NFL is better with him in it.
