I think we need EITHER Tillman OR DPJ to pop and EITHER Moore OR Bell to pop and to retain Cooper as the pure 1. Ans to be fair, if Watkins ends up continuing to ball, he’s 6’3 with value all over the field and possesses a gear and size that Bell doesn’t have. Just my 2 cents. Fair point about his production coming from the slot primarily. He’s gonna need to show he can win 1:1 outside vs top corners. This also gives us the most cap room in the NFL this year. Wouldn't that also open the door to be able to throw a bag at a 1 year rental should a good player come available after roster cuts? Basically giving us the pick of the litter from still productive veterans who get cut for salary reasons. IDK how that affects the 'carry over cap' if its just a 1 year deal but one can dream.
