Ultimately seems like this will be close. I expect Pittsburgh to fall off a cliff but they squeeze **** into lemonade every year so who knows. Threats are Cincy and maybe Houston to disrupt status quo in AFC.

NFC seems more chalk. SF, Philly, Dallas, and Detroit are stone cold locks. I think TB has the edge for division and SEA looks like a safe bet for one of the other 2 wild cards. That last WC spot is wide open as the rest of the conference blows - I expect it to come down to Rams ability to get injured vs the Falcons ability to misuse their playmakers

Man what frustrates me

Let me first start with saying I’m glad we got Shelby Harris

but it’s really unfortunate Perrion Winfrey couldn’t stay out of trouble. Not saying he would’ve been a star, but this would’ve been a great defense for him to grow in. He would’ve been a role player but seeing how the d line has player he would’ve been a nice athletic rotation player inside.

Seeing Zadarius ball out and Ogbo I just think Perrion could’ve helped out rushing from the inside.

Nobody will admit this out loud, but Pittsburgh coaches and plays as hard as humanly possible in the regular season.

Consequently it’s why they get blasted in the playoffs. They show off their best stuff in the regular season and have nothing left for the playoffs.

I mean, that’s what a good culture looks like.  You play every game with the expectation you’re going to win and should compete with everyone.

They lose in the playoffs because they’re not that talented tbh, haven’t been in a long time.  on the offensive side of the ball anyway.

Asked if he would play Sunday, he said “I don’t know, you’ll have to ask him.”

I think part of the equation is gonna be how he feels at practice and how he feels tomorrow.

Clearly he’s looking to be out there, no way to know if it will happen just yet.

I just hope they give DTR enough reps and have a customized plan for him if he’s going to start.

I think the rumor about DTR started because the latest depth chart has him at #2 QB (Watson is #1). PJ Walker is technically on the PS and has been called up, but I still don't think he's officially on the 53 as of now.

I forget the exact rule, but it's something like if a player gets called up to the active roster 3 times, he has to stay on the 53. For now, PJ is still going back and forth between the 53 and the PS.

Or I could be completely wrong lol.

All that to say, my guess is that if Watson can't go, PJ Walker will get the start again.

Yeah, can't imagine after having beaten SF that we'd go back to DTR. Walker isn't good, but DTR clearly isn't ready.
