candyman93 Posted September 5, 2020 Share Posted September 5, 2020 AD can play center and it won’t matter. Going small isn’t going to magically fix their perimeter defense. AD is an elite defender, but Harden is an all time great scorer. He’s going to draw fouls like crazy on AD and things will get REALLY ugly for the Lakers. It might help them score easier though. If he gets labeled a center his knows he has no chance to be the top all-time great center. where as a PF he has the talent at least to be in the Duncan KG category.. that and he is soft as F.. That ship has sailed. He’ll never be in that company. Those guys, particularly Timmy has proven to be the best player on a championship team. AD will show up tomorrow, that’s predictable. When they go AD at the five, Harden and Westbrook get easy lay ups at the rim because AD can't leave Tucker in the corner. And on the other end, the Rockets just pack the paint and two or three at AD when he gets post touches close to the rim. LeBron has to make quicker decisions and they have to get AD on the move.
