Darbsk
Sensible move, bring someone in who's more 'ready' and let him continue to learn playbook etc. Clearly overdrafted but we all knew he was a long term project.

Basically a redshirt season, hopefully it clicks for him in year 2. Agreed, he was an over drafted project.

ronjon1990
So...who's now available at LB? I'm familiar with Josiah Taueafa, Justin Hollins, Malik Jefferson, Anthony Chickillo, Michael Divinity, Shaq Griffin, and Joe Walker. Just the names I recognized, not saying they'd be a scheme/position fit. Edited September 6, 2020 by ronjon1990
bucksavage1
One thing we gotta remember is that developmental rookies are struggling without Mini Camp and OTAs
Turnobili
Developmental picks should be reserved for day 3 of the draft
NYRaider
We spent two third round picks on guys that we expected to learn new positions, during an offseason of uncertainty due to the pandemic. Great job Grudock. And the sad part about Muse is that he was supposed to at least have some special teams value, but reportedly we're going to bring Wilber back up to the 53 man roster.

Bad bad, choices from our management. We do not have luxury to waste 3rd picks on players learning new positions. This will backfire on us

And we already have Jalen Richard on a cheap contract who is just a better version of what we wanted from Lynn Bowden.
jimkelly02
Lmao we spent picks 81 and 91/100 on guys who couldn’t even make a day 1 roster spot on non-playoff team. that is the epitome of failure.... and this from a “draft expert”. mayock’s is like a lifelong college professor... the teacher who never had what it takes to enter the private sector and instead teaches because they can understand and teach theories but not handle the real world. Maybe he should have stayed in the NFL Network class room.
